A. Continue valsartan at the current dose and repeat renal function testing in 1–2 weeks.
B. Reduce valsartan to 40 mg daily because of worsening kidney function.
C. Discontinue valsartan and substitute amlodipine.
D. Stop valsartan immediately because the decline in eGFR indicates acute kidney injury.
