  • I do not think it will a major issue for AMGs/IMGs who did complete US training. Those laws will change according to Demand/supply ratio. The available residency positions throughout US wouldn't go lower but probably will increase each year (although might not keep up with the demand). In addition, if you completed US training, you will have the priority to have the position. The resemblance in my opinion, It is like when the league institutions saying we accept applications for international graduates for residency/fellowship but we all know the priority to US medical school graduates (i.e IMG vs AMG medical school graduate but the current situation is at more advanced level which is after completing your medical school/residency training).
