It looks like the guide catheter was stuck in the radial artery. Spasm could be a factor and sometime the edge of the guide catheter (which is a bit sharp) can make advancement hard.

So, all the above suggestions are reasonable and worth trying. However, another technique you can do is to advance an interventional guide-wire into the guide catheter, then advance a balloon over it and make part of it inside the catheter and the other outside it, then inflate that balloon to a low pressure, after that you may be able to advance the catheter and the balloon together (Watch attached video).
stuck or can't advance devices?
Can't advance catheter anymore. Meet resistance and pain in patient's arm.

Inflating the balloon and advancing the guide is a risk to scrape and damage the vascular system .

BAT (Balloon assisted tracking) is my first choice , it works most of the time
